What is your role in Crowd4Cash?
In my role as CEO of the company, I am responsible on the one hand for the results of the company and on the other for the growth. The team supports me actively. I love to motivate, inspire and inspire people around me. I also take care of attracting investors and finding new business opportunities to ensure the long-term growth of the company.

What is your professional background?
During 15 years I have accumulated a variety of banking experiences. From the regional bank to the renowned private bank, in a national and international context, from internal audit to customer service, everything was there. After that I was able to use my entrepreneurial flair to build up a financial services provider for asset managers and family offices until the successful sale of the former company.

What made you decide to plunge into the Crowd4Cash "adventure"?
Again, getting the chance to build something inspires me. I like the intensity, as well as the cooperation in heterogeneous teams with ambitious goals. Above all, I am convinced that Crowd4Cash will have a decisive influence on the democratization of the lending business in Switzerland and that Crowdlending in Switzerland will lead to its niche existence.

What makes Crowd4Cash unique in Switzerland?
The innovative power. We are not the first to raise a Crowdlending platform in Switzerland, but the way we have managed to compete and establish ourselves in the market makes me proud. Not only have we launched unique products throughout Switzerland (including short-term credit), but with our patented POS solution, we have created a unique pan-European payment option at the point of sale.

Which of Crowd4Cash's many milestones made you particularly happy?
There are many, but I appreciate the many small steps much more. They show how agile we work and how quickly we can respond to customer needs. Thanks to our self-developed software, we can launch innovations every week, even every day. Of course, the mentioned short credit, the POS solution, as well as the auto-invest application are to be mentioned as so-called milestones.

What sets your team apart from other teams?

Our skills and competencies are not in a common professional or academic past. This heterogeneity makes us different. It is fruitful and helps us to assess our decisions from a variety of perspectives and experiences, thereby evaluating the best solutions.

With the POS solution you have created a brand new sales channel, why?

As mentioned, we keep our eyes open and constantly trying to figure out how to better serve our clients. A part of the loan seekers deals with buying decisions over many days, even weeks. He also takes the time to find the right provider for finding a lender. But a large part of these customers spontaneously decide in a shop for a purchase. Just in this moment to be able to offer him a financing solution that is also interesting for the seller, i.e. the company, has given us the idea for the POS solution.

How important will Crowdlending be in the future?

A high priority, I am convinced of that. The digital helpers greatly simplify daily life and this development will not stop at the financial system. The demographic and socio-cultural aspects will support this development.
Let me take this as an example Great Britain. This market grew by a factor of 30 between 2012 and 2017. A similar development is imo also to be expected on the European mainland.
